Expand your palate and your horizons with The Cultured Somm’s Wine Tasting Classes located in a beautiful, private home in Annapolis, MD.

All classes are limited to a maximum of 10 people, allowing for an intimate, personalized wine journey. Each class is 60 to 90 minutes long and you will taste 3 different wines during a 60 minute class and 4 wines during a 90 minute class (see Class Descriptions, Schedule, & Pricing below for details). You will receive a 2.5 ounce pour (½ a standard 5 oz. glass of wine) of each wine in a different, varietal-specific crystal wine glass. All wines will be paired with either individual, artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards or custom, luxury food bites (see Class Descriptions, Schedule, & Pricing below for details).
Each participant will receive a beautiful wine tasting placemat with space to take notes on each wine and a two-page wine tasting guide which will be used throughout the class and can then be taken home. In addition, the day after the class, a guide to the wines enjoyed, food pairings, and relevant takeaways will be sent via email to all attendees.
All classes are located in a beautiful, private home in Annapolis, MD just a few miles from downtown (21403). The specific address will be provided via email, after booking and no later than 48-hours before the class.
All classes start promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of time in order to be seated. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes in advance of the scheduled class.
APRIL GIVEAWAY ALERT: WITH PURCHASE OF TCS WINE TASTING CLASS TICKET(S)
For every ticket purchased between April 1 and April 25th to any one of TCS's 11 Wine Tasting Classes taking place between April 27th and July 23rd, the purchaser will be entered into our TCS Spring Giveway. Multiple ticket purchases will result in multiple entries in accordance with the number of individual tickets purchased. The winner will be notified via the email address given at time of purchase on April 26th. The winner will receive his/her Just Add Wine Gift Basket when he/she attends his/her first TCS Wine Tasting Class.
Our Just Add Wine Gift Basket contains wine-themed goodies worth over $185, including: a 6 piece Rabbit Electric wine set, 2 gorgeous RCR crystal wine magnum wine glasses, a candle from Champagne Taittinger, a hardcover copy of The Widow Clicquot, a Wine Folly Wine Tasting Journal, a champagne stopper, champagne bottle cocktail napkins, a custom, limited edition TCS wine bag, & a champagne-themed murder mystery game.
Note, as per the more detailed Policies (see below) you must be 21 years of age or older to attend any TCS class or event and be able to present a valid government-issued ID prior to commencement of any TCS class or event. All ticket purchases to TCS Wine Tasting Classes are nonrefundable and can only be transferred with a minimum of 72 hours advance written notice to TCS via email to theculturedsomm@gmail.com providing the name and contact information for the transferee as well as warranting that the transferee is 21 years of age or older. TCS reserves the right to cancel any class with a minimum of 72 hours advance notice and upon doing so, will offer all ticket-holders the opportunity to either transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date for that class, transfer their ticket to a different class, or receive a full refund.

Celebrate Spring Blooms by Exploring Aromatic White Wines
As all of our gardens burst into bloom and warmer weather truly takes hold, let’s explore the intoxicating world of aromatic white wines. From Riesling to Gewurztraminer and Chenin Blanc to Sauvignon Blanc these beauties will give your fragrant flowers and perfumes a run for their money.
We’ll try four different aromatic grape varietals paired with artisanal, individual cheese and charcuterie boards. Cost: $120 per person
Saturday May 10th: Two Seatings
Toast Your Mom with a Luxury Champagne & Caviar Tasting
Celebrate Your Mom this Mother’s Day Weekend with a Champagne Tasting accompanied by luxury, artisanal food pairings fit for a Queen – caviar, fine European cheeses, & a sweet ending from a renowned local patisserie. You’ll learn about France’s storied champagne houses & traditions, how champagne is crafted, and where to find the best deals on this effervescent pleasure. All moms will receive a special champagne-themed gift to take home (please note in your ticket purchase/reservation request how many moms are in your group).
Seating One: 1- 2 pm: Three Champagnes & Luxury Food Pairings. Cost $130 per person.
Seating Two 4 - 5:30 pm: Four Champagnes, including a special vintage Champagne served by the glass at a 3-Michelin star restaurant & champagne bar in Reims, France, and Luxury Food Pairings. Cost $155 per person.

Celebrate National Cheese Day: How to Pair Cheese & Wine
Come celebrate National Cheese Day and learn the art of how to pair wine with cheese. We’ll sample three different wines paired with three artisanal cheeses and learn about the key components of successfully pairing wine and food. Cost $100 per person.

Red, White, & Sparkling: Festive Wines for the Fourth of July
Set yourself up for a truly spectacular Fourth of July Weekend by tasting four incredible American wines: 1 red, 2 white, and 1 sparkling that will pair perfectly with all your patriotic weekend activities and favorite picnic, BBQ, & grill & chill menus. All wines will be selected from local shops so you can quickly stock up in time for the Holiday Weekend. Artisanal, individual cheese and charcuterie boards with a Red, White, & Blue theme will also be served. Cost: $120 per person.

Rosé All Day: A Comparative Tasting of Global Gems
No wine is more evocative of lazy summer days transitioning to long summer nights than Rosé. Explore four different versions of this summer staple from around the world pairing with artisanal, individual cheese and charcuterie boards. Cost: $120 per person.

Celebrate Our Anniversary & Our Founder’s Birthday with Special Somm Cellar Selections from Stephanie’s Private Collection
Stephanie is opening up her personal wine cellar stocked with gems from her global travels in celebration of her 45th Birthday and The Cultured Somm’s 1 Year Anniversary! You won’t want to miss these special wines you can’t find in your local wine shop. We’ll also have some luxury bites & sweet treats to pair with the wines. Cost: $150 per person.
Friday Night Flight Series
Start your weekend off right with Friday Night Flights. Throughout the summer, we will gather several times to taste four different wines tied to a specific theme and paired with artisanal, individual cheese and charcuterie boards. So grab your significant other for a fabulous date night or rally your besties for a fun night out!
Pricing: $120 per person
* Those who book a series of 3 or more different Friday Night Flight classes will receive $10 off per person, per class, meaning each class will be $110 per person for those buying tickets to 3 or more different Friday Night Flight classes in the same transaction.

Friday Night Flights: Summer Sippers Poolside at Sunset!
In this class you are guaranteed to find the perfect wine to bring out on the boat, to the beach, or to sip poolside over Memorial Day Weekend. To get you in the mood for the official kickoff to summer, we’ll host this class al fresco, poolside with stunning South River views at sunset (weather permitting).

Friday Night Flights: An Evening on the French Riviera
In this class we will explore 4 iconic French wines and learn how to read French wine labels to understand what you’re buying at the store. Love Sauvy B but don’t understand why Sauvignon Blanc never appears on French wine labels? This class is for you!

Assyrtiko, Zibbibo, Furmint, Graciano – these are not just random words, they are delicious international grape varietals that you are likely missing out on! Expand your wine vocab and your palate with this fun class.

Friday Night Flights: An Evening Across Italy
From grapes grown under the Tuscan sun to wines cultivated in the volcanic soils of Sicily’s Mount Etna, we’ll try 4 iconic Italian wines and learn how to read Italian wine labels to better understand what you’re buying at the store. Wondering whether Montepulciano is an Italian town or an Italian grape? This class is for you!
Policies
Students agree to these terms and conditions upon purchase of a ticket to any TCS Wine Tasting Class or Event.

Admission into any TCS wine tasting class or event requires that you be a minimum age of 21 at the time of enrollment and be able to present a valid government-issued form of identification prior to commencement of the class or event. If you cannot produce a valid form of identification, you will not be able to partake in the day’s course. You must be 21 years of age or older for any public or private event conducted by The Cultured Somm, LLC, with no exceptions.

All sales are final and all tickets are non-refundable. Tickets to TCS Wine Tasting Classes and Events can only be transferred with a minimum of 72 hours advance written notice to TCS via email to theculturedsomm@gmail.com providing the name and contact information for the transferee as well as warranting that the transferee is 21 years of age or older. Multiple transfers are not permitted.
TCS reserves the right to cancel any class with a minimum of 72 hours advance notice and upon doing so, will offer all ticket-holders the opportunity to either transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date for that class, transfer their ticket to a different class, or receive a full refund. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process.

We often take candid and group photos and videos of classes and events and use them to publicly recap or promote future classes and events. By attending a TCS class or event, either in person or online, you agree to allow us to use any photos or videos that contain your image or likeness on our website, email communications, social media channels, or other third party advertisements without obtaining further permission from you.
We also encourage you to take photos and videos of our wine tasting classes and events, to share on your social media channels and to tag @theculturedsomm and use the hashtags #theculturedsomm #theculturedsommevents #theculturedsommwinetasting. Our motto is cultivating joie de vivre through wine and we encourage you to enjoy our wine tasting classes and events, but ask that at all times you please be respectful of other attendees.

At The Cultured Somm, LLC, we strive to provide exceptional service and transparent business practices. To ensure clarity and mutual accountability, the following policies apply to payment disputes and chargebacks.
Payment Obligations
All payments for classes, goods, services, and events provided by The Cultured Somm, LLC, are due in accordance with the terms outlined herein.
Disputing or reversing a valid payment (e.g., initiating a chargeback does not eliminate your contractual obligation to pay for classes, goods, services, or events delivered as agreed.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is initiated and deemed invalid, the customer is still responsible for settling the full balance of the invoice, along with any applicable fees incurred as a result of the dispute.
We reserve the right to pursue the recovery of unpaid balances through appropriate legal or collection channels if payment is not resolved promptly.
Resolution Process
Customers are encouraged to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback. We are available to assist in addressing disputes amicably and efficiently.
In the event of an unresolved chargeback, The Cultured Somm, LLC, will provide documentation (e.g., invoices, proof of delivery or participation) to the payment processor to validate the transaction.
Legal and Collection Actions
If payment remains unpaid after all reasonable resolution attempts, TCS reserves the right to take further action, which may include:
Filing a claim in small claims court.
Reporting the matter to credit bureaus and/or engaging a collection agency.
Seeking any and all additional damages and/or fees as allowed by law.

We value our customers and are committed to resolving any disputes, including payment disputes, professionally and in good faith. We encourage open communication to avoid escalations and maintain positive business relationships.
